Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that there is a disruption of its Internet services due to circuits fault on Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe. Due to this, customers using Internet services may now experience slow browsing while accessing websites hosted in Europe.

In addition, customers using other IP services such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to Europe may also experience some service degradation.

To alleviate the problem, some of the links have been rerouted to alternate routes to ease the congestion.

Restoration works on the affected cables are already in progress. However, in the restoration process, traffic to Northern America may experience minor degradation while traffic to other countries is not affected. TM expects the complete recovery of its services by December 31, 2008. TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works.

TM wishes to assure its customers that it is undertaking all necessary measures to restore communications services for its customers as soon as possible.

Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or e-mail us at help@tm.com.my for any Internet related problems.

I know who u are, Ivy. Well, if u dare to leave the msg here, why don’t u show your real name instead using other people name?! Anyway, regarding to your msg here, I agree what u said bout sharing knowledge to ppl is a correct way BUT I just wanna say SOME ppl like YOU, who don’t really bother to read or even explore the thing him/herself or WHATever thing that just DEPENDS on other is totally a wrong WAY to perform. Being an instructor or even a teacher use its knowledge gained to teach a student BUT if the student keep asking the same thing that makes them frustrated is not a good thing instead. Just give an example:
Teacher taught 1+1=2
Then the teacher gonna ask 1 + x =2, what is the value x?, and the student said don’t know!!
Those who already learn 1+1=2, hence he/she should know what is the value x, right?!
Totally Outrageous! Instructor or teacher is just leader that lead the way to those ppl who don’t know 1+1=2. As a STUDENT like U should need to use YOUR BRAIN to answer 1 + x =2 and find the value x.
The person that I said in the DIY’s post has this similar characteristic that always DEPENDS on people that already taught U 1+1=2 and still don’ really bother to answer 1 + x =2, where what is the x value.
Being this kind of people should be more hardworking than others instead giving the whatever thousands of excuse to blame others or your brain.
Well, Ivy, I’m a person that willing to teach THOSE who have the heart to answer 1 + x =2, where what is the x value and NOT the person that ALWAYS DEPENDS on the person again and again to get the answer.

p/s Hear me, U’ll NOT gonna learn anything if u kept asking the SIMILAR (like the example above) thing instead to TRY urself first. Try urself even if u can’t make it, that already give u a great lesson. By the way, trying a thing should have a smart way to try!
